May 2 in Washington: Sub League Qualifier #2

No judges. No points. No kidding.

Sub League is a no-gi grappling format. There are no points within a match – only for submission. It is run in a round-robin format.

– Can anyone compete in Qualifier #2?
If you placed in Qualifier #1, you are welcome to compete. If you didn’t compete in Qualifier #1, you still can compete in Qualifier #2. Anyone is eligible to compete in Qualifiers.

– How does an athlete qualify for the Championship?
He / she has to place in 1st through 5th place (ties are allowed) in one of the two qualifiers. 1st place winners not only qualify for the Championship, their entry fee is waived.

– When does registration close?
Registration for athletes and coaches will close Monday, April 27, at 11:59 pm.
Athletes may confirm that their registration is complete by checking the competitors list after 12 pm (noon) on Tuesday, April 28.
Changes to weight, ability level, spelling of name, etc., will be allowed until Thursday, April 30, at 12 pm (noon).

– When are weigh-ins?
Weigh-ins will occur in the bullpen immediately prior to the athlete going out to compete. Athletes will only be giving one opportunity to make weight. If an athlete doesn’t make weight, they will be disqualified.
