February 28 in Oregon: High Desert Submission Championship

This event will be a tournament style format and will include sub-mission style wrestling, or jiu-jitsu. There will be no points awarded during the match, if you submit you will move forward in the brackets. In case of a draw sudden death overtime will be used, and first point scored will be declared winner. All first round losers will be given 1 extra exhibition match.

Cost: $35.00 and will include T-shirt and ticket to the 36th Desert Brawl later that night.
Time: Weigh-ins will be from 8:00am to 10:00am, Competitions begins at 10:30am.
Age Divisions: Youth 13 and under, Juniors 14 to 17, adult 18 to 39, Seniors 40+
Skill Levels: Youth, Juniors, and women less than 18 months = beginner, 18+ Advanced.
Men less than 18 months = beginner, 18 months to 3 years = intermediate,
3+ years = advanced.

Weight Divisions: Youth light 60 lbs and below, Middle 60.1 to 80 lbs, Heavy 80.1 to 95.
Junior light 124 lbs and below, Middle 145.1 to 155 lbs , Middle Heavy 155.1 to
165 lbs, Heavy 165.1 to 185 lbs, Open Class 185.1+
Women light 124 lbs and below, Middle 124.1 to 147 lbs, Heavy 147.1+
Men light 149 lbs and below, Middle 149.1 to 169 lbs, Medium Heavy 169.1 to
189 lbs, Heavy 189.1 to 210 lbs, Open Class 210.1+

Payment: Make checks out to Acrovision Sports Center • All competitors need to fill out and sign a release waiver prior to participation.

Tom Oberhue from Impact Jiu Jitsu will also come up to help referee and arrange brackets.
