March 28 in New Mexico: Southwest Grapplefest II
Both BJJ and No-Gi follow International Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Federation rules.
For all divisions: No slamming or spiking from guard or takedown, no small joint manipulation, biting, fish hooking, gouging, hair
pulling, tracheal attacks, grabbing clothes, bicep or calf compressions, neck cranks, wrist locks and strikes of any kind.
Kids, Youth, Teens & Adult Beg: No heel hooks, toe holds, foot locks or knee bars.
Adult Intermediate: No heel hooks, toe holds.
Unsportsmanlike conduct will NOT be tolerated. Please respect the officials, volunteers and the building at all times.
Competitors must weigh in the night before between 5-8pm or the morning of between 7-9am. Bring a picture ID.
After making weight you’ll receive the yellow copy of your weigh-in form for each division your doing. Bring it to the mat-side table
when your division(s) are called. Divisions may be added or combined based on turnout.
Medals will be given for 1st – 4th place shortly after each division finishes. All placers must be at the podium to receive their award
and have a picture taken. Top 2 finalists must move up a skill level at the next tournament.
