Day one of the event will be No-Gi submission grappling and starts at 10 am. The tournament is for men and women, ages 16 and up and there will be five weight divisions at all levels. Also, on Saturday, there will be 10 Pankration fights starting at 7:00 pm. If you register to compete for both days, you get in free to this event.

On day two, Sunday, we be the Brazilian sport Jiu-Jitsu tournament. The tournament will start at 9:00am and will have kids, women, adult men, masters, and seniors, from white belt to black belt, showing their skills on the mat. It will be held at our 15,000 square foot studio at 2990 Grace Lane, in Costa Mesa.

Joe Moreira would like to say thank you to the sponsors Vulkan, Allen McLaughlin, Barry Sherman, Ashot Petrossian and Daniel Darrow. He would also like to thank his team, Gina and family, Giselle Moreira, Marcus Vinicius, Marcelo Carvalho, Rich Zaydel, Andrew Kuiland, Ed Villalpando, Mike Garza and Randy Bloom for helping promote the events, as well as, working at them. These tournaments are important because people from all schools can come, compete and have fun, but, also, serious jiu-jitsu competitors can come and compete with the best to refine their tournament skills. As a result, we see many familiar faces from these events on the podiums at the Pan American and the World Jiu Jitsu tournaments.
