January 24 in California: Abu Dhabi Pro West Coast Qualifier

Acting as a qualifier for the richest and most prestigious Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu event on the planet, the Abu Dhabi Pro, the West Coast qualifier will see the best of the best congregating upon Northern California in the United States.

Taking place on Sunday, January 24th, 2010 at the Santa Cruz Civic Auditorium in Santa Cruz, California in the United States, the event will see eight qualifiers afforded the chance to represent the United States at Abu Dhabi in 2010.

All qualifiers from the American event will fight it out to compete with the best grapplers and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes from across the world and for the chance at winning a massive USD$145,000 in cash and prizes at the Abu Dhabi Pro.

Propelled by the support of the government of Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Pro supported personally by his Highness the Supreme Prince and Commander In Chief of the United Arab Emirates National Army, H. H. Sheik Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

Winners of the qualifiers will have all airfares, accommodation and meals paid for and they will also have a chance at the cash and prizes in Abu Dhabi.

All will seek the ultimate title of the Best Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu fighers in the world.

Hosted by Claudio Franca, 5th degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and creator & host to the famous U.S. Open Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament, the event will be one of the best as Claudio is known for his professional style of tournement creations.
