April 12 in the United Kingdom: Celtic Open Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tournament

Doors will open at 9am and the competition will start at 9:30am. The competition is open to Juniors and Seniors and will follow the IBJJF rules for each belt catgegory. Due to the organisers wishing to make the competition as safe as possible for all competitors no submissions will be allowed in any of the junior categories regardless of age of ability. The entry cost for the competition is £15 per adult and £10 per junior, spectators will be charges at £3 per person. All competitors must have valid insurance that covers them for competition, this can be from any UK governing body examples of which are the Grappling Arts Association and the British and Welsh Judo Association.

All weights are with kimono, and all competitors will be weighed just prior to their first fight. There will be no changing of weight categories on the day, any athlete who does not make his weight will be immediately disqualified from the tournament.
